Our Activities

Art is an essential work of human expression. It physically depicts the abstract thoughts and processes inside a young mind and provides and insight into the child. We are increasingly aware of the necessity of developing all the areas of a child’s mind, and thus we place an increasing emphasis on art. Children regularly create artwork and at the end of the year it is amazing to see the development they have undergone. This is increasingly noticeable through their artwork.

Learning is an integral aspect of a child’s development. At Happy Child Care Centre and Kindergartenwe know that different children have different ways of learning. Some are kinaesthetic learners, while others may be visual or auditory learners. We cater for all these different learning styles children have!

Our Centre takes the services of outside accredited agency for music activities for children which are designed to stimulate childhood development. All programs are aligned with the National Quality Standards and support the Early Years Learning Framework.
The music program is an entertainment-based music program for children where musical concepts of beat, rhythm, tempo, pitch and dynamics are explored in every session. Each program is set around a theme where props, puppets and non-tuned musical instruments are being used.

Fun-Key Yoga is a program designed to develop balance, strength and co-ordination in a playful environment. Unlike traditional adult yoga, the children at fun-key yoga are animated, noisy and have fun! Our instructors use games, storytelling, music and props to engage children both physically and mentally.
A typical day at fun-key yoga includes warm up exercises where children pretend to be balloons, bubbles or perhaps even a washing machine. Yoga poses are incorporated into the theme which changes each week. Research shows that children who do yoga in a playful but structured environment begin to develop better body awareness and the initial tools for better concentration, co-ordination and balance

Happy Child Care Centre and Kindergarten provides fresh, nutritious and healthy meals on campus to our pupils. We have a dedicated member of our team who works to meet every dietary requirement. We Serve All Dietary and Special Food Requirements! Ours is nut and egg free environment and we also baked eggless cake in our kitchen to celebrate children birthday.

Apart from playing outdoors, we also let our children engage in activities such as gardening. Gardening calls upon the sincerest levels of persistence, care and love from an individual. Thus, in our attempt to create individuals from young minds, we find that outdoor activities play the most essential role.

The best learning experiences a child can have are not in the classroom. They come about during the times when children engage in playful physical activities. Play inculcates the values of team work, sportsmanship, resilience, determination, and many more from a little age. Our endeavour is to be able to assist our children in being able to ignite their desire for physical activity so that the rest can follow.
